Principles of distributed database systems

Thanks awesome book.

The book itself is not bad. But the author (Tamer) is the most rude of all...

I've been using this book since its 2nd edition in my "Distributed & Parallel Database" grad and undergrad courses and I really like the way it is structured and the commented Bibliographic Notes, which closes every chapter. In these days of Big Data Analysis, Map/Reduce and Hadoop programming I find it even more important to settle the basis for data partitioning, data replication, reliability, data parallelism and data-flow optimization.
